Presented by the local motorcycle dealers, there are various mass ride starting points throughout Gauteng.  Join the ride from your region or with your riding club, at the selected starting point options, to ride together to the end destination “Grotto to Gravel” in Magaliesburg.

WHAT IS IFRD HER POWER?

The theme #IFRDHerPower is more than just a phrase — it’s a declaration of strength, capability, and the incredible energy that women bring to motorcycling, motorsports and powersports. It embodies the many facets of what it means to be a female rider, and the impact women continue to make in the motorsport’s world.

Here’s what is stands for:

Empowerment: Riding is a source of confidence and control, both personally and collectively. #IFRDHerPower speaks to the strength and agency of women riders, highlighting how motorcycling, and powersports fosters self-belief and independence.

Capability: Women riders are skilled, competent, and fully capable of mastering the machine and the road. This theme reinforces that motorcycling and powersports is not about gender—it’s about ability, technique, passion and diversity.

Independence: Motorcycling / powersports offers women a sense of freedom and self-reliance. #IFRDHerPower symbolises the autonomy that comes with riding, the ability to carve one’s own path, and the thrill of making one’s own choices.

Community: While it celebrates individual strength, #IFRDHerPower also acknowledges the collective force of women riders supporting and uplifting each other. It reflects the solidarity and camaraderie that make IFRD a truly global movement.

Inspiration: This theme is a call to action for more women to experience the freedom and joy of riding. It serves as a beacon, encouraging women to discover their own power on two or three wheels.

Authenticity: Motorcycling / powersports is an expression of identity, and #IFRDHerPower encourages women to ride in a way that feels true to them. Whether it’s on a sportbike, cruiser, adventure bike, scooter, or three-wheeler,  the essence remains the same  – embracing the ride with confidence and authenticity.
